ALS TDI Leadership Summit
Cambridge - Boston, Mass
Website
Leading the Way for the Future of ALS Research
An open discussion between ALS patients and ALS researchers hosted by the world's leading translational ALS research center. The ALS TDI Leadership Summit is a two-day event aimed at providing a forum for the exploration of the past, present and future of research towards an effective treatment for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. No charge for this program (or any ALS TDI program).
Upcoming features
I'm posting this on both sites because some of these will cross over. Here are some of the things I have planned in the near future:
Information on helping with that pesky van conversion dragging problem (I truly hope an idea we were told of works)
Medicare/disability information
More resource links
Some blogs on emotional health for patients
Info on grief and not "stealing it"
And hopefully in the next few weeks I'll have some tips on getting a more affordable option for those who need a lift system from the bedroom to the bathroom
ALSCaregivers and Martha's Marauders on Squidoo
I've started writing some "lenses" about ALS on Squidoo, so check them out. Many many more are on the way.
How a caregiver has fun
Beating ALS to Death
Caring for the caregiver
Making places truly handicap accessible
Angela Lansbury PSA for ALS
Angela Lansbury has done a PSA for ALS, which you can view by clicking this link: Angela Lansbury PSA. Thanks, Angela!
Welcome to Martha's Marauders!
This website is being put together for my mom, Martha, who is battling ALS, and for all other ALS patients and caregivers. Please forgive the mess while I get this thing going.
